Q: FAQs - Employment Procedures > (II) Can international and overseas Chinese graduates employed in hospitality jobs change employers? What are the procedures for change of employer? How are employers protected?


Answer:

In accordance with Articles 53 and 59 of the Employment Service Act, international and overseas Chinese graduates engaging in hospitality jobs cannot change an employer when their employment permit is still in effect, except for reasons not attributed to such international and overseas Chinese graduates. The procedures for change of employer for foreign factory workers shall apply to change of employer for international and overseas Chinese graduates.
