Confirmation of Foreign Worker Eligibility, Salary Conditions, and Technical Qualifications

 

· Foreign Worker’s Application Eligibility:

I. Experienced migrant workers who have worked continuously in Taiwan for 6 years or more, or who have been employed by the same employer for a cumulative total of 6 years or more.

II. Migrant workers who previously accumulated 6 or more years of work experience in Taiwan, and have returned to Taiwan for employment, with a cumulative work period of 11 years and 6 months or more.

III. Former migrant workers who have a cumulative total of 11 years and 6 months or more of work in Taiwan without any record of illegal incidents during their employment, and have since left the country.

IV. Foreign students, overseas compatriot students, or other ethnic Chinese students who have graduated from Taiwanese universities or colleges with an associate degree.

 

·Salary Conditions:

I. A regular monthly salary of at least NT$35,000 per foreign skilled worker.

II. Technical requirements can be waived if the regular monthly salary is NT$37,000 or more.

 

·Technical Conditions:

Must meet one of the following conditions:

I. Professional Certification: Serve as a member of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Team at slaughterhouses certified by the Ministry of Agriculture under Hazard Analysis and Critical Control System, and obtain the certificate.

 

II. Training Courses:

1.Management -related Training Program approved by the Ministry of Agriculture

Attend Management-related Training Program approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, with a cumulative duration of at least 80 hours, and obtain the certificate.

2.The employer has continuously employed the same foreign worker for a cumulative period of three years or more, and prior to the application date, has provided the foreign worker with specialized knowledge and technical training courses equivalent to those described above, with a total of at least 80 hours, and submits a declaration.
