Confirm Employer (Applicant’s) Eligibility

·Employer’s Eligibility to Apply:

Any one of the following conditions should be met:

1. Fishing vessel operators with a total tonnage of 20 or above must hold a fishing license issued by the competent authority.
2. Powered fishing vessel operators with a total tonnage of less than 20 must hold a fishing license issued by the competent authority.
3. Operators must hold either a fishing area zoning fishing rights license for cage aquaculture issued by the competent authority or a fishing entry permit for cage aquaculture issued by a designated fishing zone rights holder.

·Number of Employee Quotas for Employer Applications:

1. For fishing vessels: The number of employees may not exceed the number of crew members listed on the fishing license, minus the minimum number of crew members required for fishing operations at sea. If the number of crew members at sea exceeds the minimum number required, 25% of the number of crew members at sea should be counted.

2. For cage aquaculture: According to the area of aquaculture stated on the fishing rights license or fishing entry permit, one person may be hired for every 1/2 hectare.
