Labor Contract > II. Bilingual Salary Proof
Employers who employ intermediate skilled foreign workers must provide a pay slip each month when paying their salary. The pay slip should include the total salary amount, individual payroll items, the amount of deductions based on regulations or agreements between the employer and worker, such as National Health Insurance, and the actual amount paid. The pay slip must be provided in both Chinese and the worker's native language, with all details clearly listed.
The labor contract stipulates that the employer must pay the full salary in cash, minus any deductions for the intermediate skilled foreign worker. However, if the salary is paid by an alternative method, the employer must provide relevant documentation, entrust it to the intermediate skilled foreign worker for safekeeping, and retain a copy for themselves for 5 years.
