◎Indonesia: For Indonesian intermediate skilled workers, if the passport validity is less than 3 months, they must fill out an application form, along with the original passport, a copy of the ARC, a birth certificate (It should be included only if the name has changed), and apply for a passport renewal at the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei. After submitting the documents, a photo appointment will be arranged, the applicant must visit the office in person for the photo and fingerprinting. The new passport can be received approximately two weeks later.
◎Vietnam: Vietnamese intermediate skilled workers can apply for passport renewal 6 months before the expiration date, they must fill out an application form, along with the original passport, a photocopy of the front and back of the Vietnamese ID card, a copy of the labor contract, a copy of ARC, four 2-inch color photos taken within the last 6 months (or photo file), and submit to the Vietnamese Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
◎Thailand: For Thai intermediate skilled workers, if the passport validity is less than 6 months, they must fill out an application form, along with the original passport, the original Thai national ID card, and other necessary documents, such as a name change certificate. The applicant must prepare the required documents and apply in person at the Thailand Trade and Economic Office for processing.
◎Philippines: For Filipino intermediate skilled workers, passport renewal can be processed up to one year in advance. Applicants must first make an online appointment, print the application form, and provide a recent photo, a copy of the current Philippine passport (pages 2 and 3, pages 4 to 5, and page 44), a valid ARC (front and back copy), a copy of the latest Taiwan visa, and a processing fee of NT$2,000.
