Contract Extension and Termination > V. Resolution of Going Missing

◎If an intermediate skilled foreign worker has been absent from work without contact for 3 consecutive days, the employer must report the situation in writing to the local competent authority, regional service stations of the NIA (hereafter, NIA), and the police of the worker's accommodation within 3 days of the occurrence, also notify the Ministry of Labor simultaneously.
◎To notify the Ministry of Labor, the employer can use Foreigner Online Application System (Website: https://fwapply.wda.gov.tw/ ) to inform that the foreign worker has been absent from work without contact for 3 consecutive days.

1、If an intermediate skilled foreign worker has been missing (including the days of absence) within 3 days, the employer or the authorized agency can go to the "Foreign Labor Searching System" of the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor (Website: https://labor.wda.gov.tw/labweb/) to "Inform of Missing Labor Within 3 Days" and request assistance in finding the worker.
2、If an intermediate skilled foreign worker has been missing after 3 days, the employer must, in according with Article 56 of the Employment Service Act file a report and go to "Foreigner Online Application System", (Website: https://fwapply.wda.gov.tw/efpv/wSite/Control？function=IndexPage) to inform.
