Intermediate skilled foreign workers engaged in live-in caregiver work may have their leave determined based on the labor contract signed between the employer and the worker.
◎ For those covered by the Labor Standards Act
Intermediate skilled foreign workers engaged in construction work, manufacturing, institutional nursing, marine fishing, and other sectors are subject to the Labor Standards Act. These workers are entitled to two regular days off every seven days: one day as a regular leave and the other as a rest day. Furthermore, leave shall be granted for holidays designated by the Central Competent Authority. Workers who have worked continuously for the same employer or business entity for a specified period are also entitled to "annual paid leave."
