Q: FAQs - Salary Section > (IV) When employers apply to the MOL for hiring international and overseas Chinese graduates for hospitality jobs, if international and overseas Chinese graduates have previously been approved for engaging in specialist or technician jobs, intermediate skilled jobs, or other hospitality jobs not covered by the said scope of examination, does the minimum monthly regular earnings for the first time at NT$30,000 apply?
Answer:
Not applicable. The salary regulations for first-time engagement in hospitality jobs will not apply when international and overseas Chinese graduates who have previously been approved for engaging in specialist or technician jobs, intermediate skilled jobs, or other hospitality jobs not covered by the said scope of examination before employers apply for hiring them. Additionally, if international and overseas Chinese graduates apply for an employer change after being hired for hospitality jobs by an employer, the salary regulations for first-time engagement in hospitality jobs also do not apply to the successive employer. As such, international and overseas Chinese graduates have been hired for hospitality jobs.
