Q: After a company applies for a foreign worker to be re-designated as an intermediate skilled worker what fees is the employer required to pay? For example, what payments should be made by the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) which is responsible for alliance members?

Answer:

(1) When a private employment services agency is commissioned by an employer to deal with the application for a foreign worker to be re-designated an intermediate skilled worker, based on the Fee-paying Standards it charges the employer a registration fee, placement fee and service fee (maximum of NT$2,000 per worker per year).
(2) In addition, private employment services agencies can also charge foreign workers a registration fee, placement fee and service fee (maximum of NT$2,000 per year). However, if the employer is an RBA member said employer should deal with the matter in accordance with their operational needs.
