Confirmation of Eligibility Qualifications, Salary Conditions, and Technical Requirements for Foreigners
· Foreigner’s Eligibility for Application:
I.Former migrant workers who have a cumulative total of 11 years and 6 months or more of work in Taiwan without any illegal incidents during their employment in Taiwan and who have since left the country.
II. Foreign students, overseas compatriot students, or other ethnic Chinese students who have graduated from Taiwanese universities or colleges with an associate degree.
III. Migrant workers who have worked continuously in Taiwan for 6 years or more, or who have been employed by the same employer for a total of 6 years or more.
IV. Migrant workers who had a cumulative total of 6 years or more of work experience in Taiwan before leaving the country, and who have returned to Taiwan for employment, with a cumulative work period of 11 years and 6 months or more.
· Salary Conditions:
I. The monthly regular salary should be at least NT$33,000, or the annual total salary should amount to at least NT$500,000. However, for initial employment of foreign students, overseas compatriot students, or other ethnic Chinese students who have graduated from Taiwanese universities or colleges with an associate degree, the monthly regular salary is set at NT$30,000, with the possibility of an increase to NT$33,000 upon renewal of employment contract.
II. Technical requirements can be waived when the monthly regular salary is NT$35,000 or more.
· Technical Conditions:
Any one of the following conditions should be met:
I. Professional Certifications:
1. Intermediate Skilled Technical Agricultural Crop Work: Pass the Agricultural Crop Industry Technical Qualification Examination, and obtain certification.
2.Intermediate Skilled Technical Forestry, Animal Husbandry, and Aquaculture Work: The Ministry of Agriculture has not currently established standards for related professional certifications.
II. Training Courses: Attend professional technical courses organized by the central or local agricultural authorities, their commissioned universities or colleges, or industry associations, with a total duration of over 80 hours, and obtain certification or an affidavit.
III. Implementation Certification:
(1)The standards for implementation certification as established by the Ministry of Agriculture.
(2)Employers provide evidence (including written proof and actual video footage) that the foreign worker possesses intermediate technical skills and apply to the Ministry of Agriculture for implementation certification.
(3)The Ministry of Agriculture is responsible for reviewing the implementation certification.
(4)During the review process, the Ministry of Agriculture may conduct on-site inspections as deemed necessary.
