Confirmation of Employer (Applicant) Eligibility

 

·Employer’s Application Eligibility:

1.Agriculture: Employer shall be engaged in manual work related to agricultural and food production, including the cultivation of vegetables, flowers, seedlings, fruit trees, miscellaneous grains, and specialty crops, and facility-based agriculture. However, this does not include manual work related to the cultivation of betel nuts, betel pepper vines, or tobacco.

 

2.Forestry: Employers shall be engaged in manual work related to nursery operations, afforestation, silviculture, and logging.

 

3.Animal Husbandry: Employer shall manage livestock farms and be engaged in manual work related to livestock and poultry husbandry, including animal management, breeding, milking, egg collection, livestock farm environmental maintenance, waste treatment and reuse, feed preparation, disease prevention and control.

 

4.Aquaculture: Employers shall operate aquaculture farms and be engaged in manual work related to aquaculture, including feed management, breeding, harvesting, and aquaculture farm environmental maintenance.

 

5.Livestock Waste Composting: Employer must obtain a permit issued by the central competent authority for operating a livestock waste composting facility, and shall be engaged in manual work related to the treatment and reuse of livestock waste, operation and handling, and other related manual work.

 

6.Engaged in manual work related to agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, or aquaculture, as designated by the central competent authority in consultation with the authority responsible for the relevant sector.

 

·Employer Application Quota:

1.Employers who are natural persons with farmer status or farmer organizations, and who employ 10 workers or fewer, shall have the number of foreign skilled workers calculated as 25% of the average number of workers employed in the one-year period ending two months prior to the month of application.

 

2.Employers who are natural persons with farmer status or farmer organizations, and who employ more than 10 workers, shall have the number of foreign skilled workers calculated as 25% of 35% of the average number of workers employed in the one-year period ending two months prior to the month of application.

 

3.For employers who are operational business entities (including juristic persons and non-juristic entities), the number of foreign skilled workers shall be calculated as 25% of 35% of the average number of workers employed in the one-year period ending two months prior to the month of the employer’s application.
