Confirmation of Eligibility Qualifications, Salary Conditions, and Technical Requirements for Foreigners

 

· Foreigner’s Eligibility for Application:

Foreign students, overseas compatriot students, or other ethnic Chinese students who have graduated from Taiwanese universities or colleges with an associate degree.

 

· Salary Conditions:

I. The monthly regular salary should be at least NT$33,000, or the annual total salary should amount to at least NT$500,000. However, for initial employment of foreign students, overseas compatriot students, or other ethnic Chinese students who have graduated from Taiwanese universities or colleges with an associate degree, the monthly regular salary is set at NT$30,000, with the possibility of an increase to NT$33,000 upon renewal of employment contract.

II. Technical requirements can be waived when the monthly regular salary is NT$35,000 or more.

 

· Technical Requirements

Foreign and overseas Chinese graduates who have completed any one of the following training courses with a total of 80 hours or more, and obtain the certificates or a declaration:

 

1. Training courses on related professional knowledge and skills offered by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, or any industry associations recognized by MOTC.


2. Related internship programs offered by domestic colleges or universities accredited by the Ministry of Education (MOE) through academia-industry collaboration.


3. Tourism and hospitality-related professional or technical training courses offered by the employer.
