Confirm Employer (Applicant’s) Eligibility

 

·Employer’s Eligibility to Apply:

Any one of the following conditions should be met:

  1. Long-term care institutions, care facilities, nursing homes, or non-profit social welfare institutions that accommodate and care for individuals with moderate or higher levels of physical or mental disabilities, psychiatric patients, and individuals with dementia.
  2. Nursing homes, chronic hospitals, or general hospitals, hospitals or specialty hospitals equipped with chronic disease or respiratory care beds.
  3. Long-term care service institutions established in accordance with the Long-term Care Services Act, provide accommodation-based long-term care services.

 

·Number of Employee Quotas for Employer Applications:

  1. Long-term care institutions, care facilities, nursing homes, or non-profit social welfare institutions that accommodate and care for individuals with moderate or higher levels of physical or mental disabilities, psychiatric patients, and individuals with dementia, shall employ staff based on the number of licensed beds registered according to the law. For every 3 beds, 1 staff member shall be hired, with the total number of foreign workers not exceeding 25% of the total number of domestic caregivers and nursing staff.
  2. Nursing homes and accommodation-based long-term care institutions established in accordance with the Long-term Care Services Act shall employ staff based on the number of licensed beds registered according to the law. For every 5 beds, 1 staff member shall be hired, with the total number of foreign workers not exceeding 25% of the total number of domestic caregivers and nursing staff.
  3. Chronic hospitals or general hospitals, hospitals or specialty hospitals with chronic disease or respiratory care beds, shall employ staff based on the number of licensed beds registered according to the law.
